Frequently asked questions

Short answers, in plain words, to what people ask before they start.

The basics

What is Posteador?

A web app to write a post once and publish it on all your social networks, now or later.

Why use Posteador?

To save time. Instead of opening each social network and writing the same thing again and again, you write it once and it goes everywhere. You can also prepare a whole week of posts in one sitting and let them go out on their own.

It also helps you get every post right. As you write, you see how it will look on each network, on a phone and on a computer. Before you send, Posteador checks the text length, images and videos against the rules of each network and tells you what to change. And if you do not know what to write, the AI drafts it for you in your own style.

Can I try it for free?

Yes. The Base plan is free, with no card and no time limit: connect your accounts and publish up to 30 posts a month. You only pay if you later add a module.

Can I get a refund if I do not like it?

Yes. Every module has a 7-day money-back guarantee: if it is not for you, ask for a full refund within 7 days of paying.

Which social networks does it work with?

Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook Pages, Threads and Bluesky. You connect each account once and then choose, post by post, where it goes.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Posteador works in the browser, on a computer or a phone. You sign in with your Google account.

How many accounts can I connect?

One account per network: one Instagram, one LinkedIn, one Facebook Page, and so on. More than one account per network, for agencies and companies with several brands, is on the way.

Plans and limits

What does the free plan include?

The Base plan includes 30 posts a month on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads and Bluesky, with text, images, GIFs, threads and drafts.

If you need more, you add modules: each one is a paid extra for one thing (posting on X, scheduling, analytics, video or AI). You only pay for the ones you use.

If I send one post to all my networks, does it count as one post or as several?

As one. A post counts once, however many networks it goes to: the same post sent to Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook at the same time uses 1 of your 30.

In a thread, each post of the thread counts. Drafts do not count: only what you publish or schedule does. The count starts again on the first day of each month.

What happens when I reach 30 posts in a month?

You can keep writing and saving drafts, and you can publish again when the next month starts. With any paid module, the limit goes up to 500 posts a month.

What is a module?

An extra you add to the free plan. There are five: X (to post on X), Calendar and Scheduling (to post later, at the date and time you choose), Analytics (to see how your posts perform), Video (to post videos) and AI (to have drafts written for you).

You can combine them as you like. Each one is paid once a year, and its price is shown in the app, on the Plans page, before you pay.

Can I schedule posts on the free plan?

On the free plan a post goes out right away or stays as a draft. To choose a date and time or use the posting queue, add the Calendar and Scheduling module. Autopilot, which plans a whole series for you, needs that module and the AI module.

Posting on X

Why is X a paid module when the other networks are free?

Because X charges apps for every post they publish, and the other networks do not. Instead of raising the price for everyone, only the people who post on X pay for it.

What do "own keys" or BYOK mean?

BYOK stands for "bring your own key". X gives developers a pair of keys that work like a membership card: they tell X who is posting and who gets the bill.

With the "X, own keys" module you create a free developer account at X, copy your two keys into Posteador, and X bills you directly for what you post. It takes about ten minutes and suits people who post a lot or share many links.

And what is "X, managed"?

The simple option: you connect your X account and post. We use our own keys and pay X for you, and the module includes a set number of posts a month. There is nothing to set up.

If you are not sure which one to pick, choose managed. You can switch later.

AI and content

Does the AI publish on its own?

No. The AI writes drafts and Autopilot proposes a series of posts with their dates, but nothing is scheduled or published until you have read it and said yes. You can edit every post first.

What can I post?

Text, images, GIFs, links and threads on the free plan, and videos with the Video module. Instagram and TikTok need an image or a video in every post, because they do not publish text alone.

Who owns what I publish?

You do. Your texts, images and videos are yours, and we only use them to send them to the networks you choose.

A video is deleted from our servers as soon as it is published. The text and images of your posts stay in your account while it exists, so you can see them in Posts and Analytics.

Payments and safety

How do I pay?

By card, once a year for each module. All prices include taxes, and you see the total before you pay.

Payments go through Stripe, the payment platform that millions of companies of every size use and the standard for paying online. You type your card on a secure Stripe page: Posteador never sees or stores your card number. From the Plans page you can change your card and download your invoices at any time.

Is it safe to connect my accounts?

Yes. You connect each account on the network's own sign-in page, so we never see your password. Posteador can only do what you ask: publish your posts and read their numbers. You can disconnect an account at any time in Settings.

We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

What happens if I unsubscribe?

You can remove a module whenever you like, from the Plans page. It stays yours until the end of the year you paid for, and then it is not charged again. If you change your mind before that date, adding it back costs nothing.

When a module ends you go back to what the free plan includes. Nothing is deleted: your account, your connected networks, your drafts and your published posts stay where they are, and posts you had already scheduled still go out.
