Social media posting queue
Set your weekly posting times once, then add a post to the next free slot and keep a steady rhythm without thinking about it.
What is a posting queue?
A queue is a list of weekly time slots, for example Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:00. Instead of choosing a date for every post, you add it to the queue and it takes the next free slot.
It is the simplest way to stay consistent: write when you have ideas, and let the queue decide when each one goes out.
How it works
- 1
Set your weekly slots
Choose the days and times you want to post, once, in Settings.
- 2
Add posts to the queue
Press Add to queue on any post and it takes the next free slot.
- 3
Review the calendar
Every queued post shows on its day, and you can move any of them.
What you get
Set once, use forever
Slots repeat every week until you change them.
Next free slot
A new post never lands on a slot that is already taken.
Works with threads and video
Any post can be queued, whatever its format.
Included in Calendar and Scheduling: The Calendar and Scheduling module.
Frequently asked questions
Can I still choose an exact date?
Yes. The queue is optional: set a date by hand, use a quick pick, or add to the queue.
What happens when the queue is full?
A post takes the next free slot, which may be weeks ahead. You can move it on the calendar at any time.
